Can I get a later check-out time?
Check out is at 10 a.m. local time. Your prompt departure is appreciated so we can prepare the unit for incoming guests. A 1-hour late departure may be arranged pending other reservations and the housekeeping schedule. If you have not arranged for a late check out, you may be charged $35 for each hour beyond 10 a.m. you are still on property, at a minimum of one hour. If the unit has not been vacated by 3 p.m. on your check-out day, a fee equal to the daily rental rate may be assessed.

Can I bring more people than the number you list as the occupancy?
Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the unit at any given time (this includes guests and visitors), some of which may be mandated by internal and external regulations. Exceptions for the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2.

Can I cancel my reservation due to weather conditions?
Gull Lake Management/Resort/Rentals does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages or forest fires. If the property is uninhabitable due to such circumstances and you did not purchase travel insurance, reservations can be rescheduled for future dates within one year of the reservation date.

Yes, you will be given an option to add the cost of travel insurance during the online reservation process on our website.

When are payments due?
25% deposit is due at time of booking; 50% (75% cumulative) due 120 days prior to arrival; Final payment will be required 60 days prior to checking-in to your vacation rental. If your booking is less than 120 days the deposit will be 75% due at time of booking and final payment will be required 60 days prior to checking-in. If booking within 60 days of your stay, payment in full is due at time of reservation.

What supplies are included with the rental of one of your units?
A starter supply of expendable supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner, liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags and coffee are provided; please bring additional if you feel a small supply will not be adequate. Housekeeping is not provided during your stay unless previously arranged.

Do I need to bring linens and towels?
Bath towels, bed sheets, pillows and blankets are provided. DO NOT take the home’s linens or towels outside.

Will housekeeping clean during my stay?
Guests have the option for daily cleanings during their stay at an additional fee. Rates vary per unit and services.

Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside any of our units. If there is tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $250 charge and potentially an additional cleaning fee.

All of our units are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi internet. You will receive access details in your check-in email.

Do you have grills available?
Our Bay Colony and Interlachen units have gas grills next to the unit. Gull Haven units have BBQ charcoal grills next to the unit. You will need to bring charcoal and lighter fluid.

Do you have firepits on the beach?
Yes, during the Summer season there are several firepits available along each community on the beach. There will be firewood bends near the firepits. These are on a first-come, first served basis.

Is there someone I can contact if there are issues during my stay?
Yes, before your arrival, we will send you the name and cell phone number of an on-premises contact who can help with any questions or problems you may have while at Gull Lake.

Can I bring my own boat? Is there a charge for boat lift?
Yes, we offer nightly boat lifts for rental on a first-come, first served basis. We encourage you to reserve the lift upon your booking. Watercrafts (boats, pontoons, etc.) are not permitted to be tied to the docks at any time. Some large pontoons may not fit on the lifts. Please let us know what type/size pontoon you have.

Do you have a pontoon to rent?
Yes, a tritoon for daily/weekly rental. A 24-foot Premier Gemini 220 is powered by a Yamaha F150 and can accommodate up to 14 passengers. With all the amenities you’ll need for a day on the lake, this like-new tritoon includes fishing chairs, rod holders and live well; GPS/sonar; dining table; stereo and speakers; 12-volt sink and much more. What’s a tritoon? It’s a pontoon boat with three tubes (rather than two) in the hull for added performance and stability.
